Feature Hoardings

Nothacre’s highly regarded hoardings serve two purposes; to hide and protect the site and to arouse general interest.

The 150m long hoarding at Observatory Gardens featured a cut out of Sir James South at his observatory window. For The Bromptons, Northacre went a stage further, building an interactive hoarding whose windows lit up as each apartment was sold.

Kings Chelsea created a stir and won national marketing awards, most notably the British Design and Art Direction silver medal for the most outstanding environmental design. This was the first property marketing tool to receive such acclaim. The three-dimensional book design was inspired by the building’s past as a seat of learning, and each giant binding was sponsored by a local firm in aid of the local charity, Children with Leukaemia.

Watch this space for Northacre’s next innovation: The Lancasters will literally draw on it’s location opposite Bayswater Road – the longest art gallery in the world.
