The Vicarage
- Northacre acquired Vicarage Gate House with its joint venture partners Arcapita in May 2003. As an outdated substandard and non-compliant nursing home, the closure of the site became the subject of a protracted five year planning wrangle
- Following the success of a High Court case and more recently a Public Inquiry hearing in November 2008, the Planning Inspectorate finally determined that the appeal for Northacre's residential scheme be allowed
- 'The Vicarage' is now set to be another of Northacre's finest Revival schemes, with an all new building designed to respect the conservation area by replacing the dereliction of the unattractive 1950's building, Northacre is committed to rejuvenating and enhancing this important corner of Palace Gardens Terrace & Vicarage Gate
