Meet The Makers Behind House Of Walpole

Northacre’s Meet the Makers campaign celebrates the talents of the artists, designers and creators behind Britain’s best luxury brands. The initiative is part of a unique collaboration between leading luxury brands Northacre, Walpole, the official sector body for UK luxury, and Oliver Burns, the luxury interior design studio. The three have combined to create the House of Walpole – The Home of British Luxury Craftsmanship.

House of Walpole, a bespoke one-off residence at No.1 Palace Street, The St. Regis Residences, showcases the work of British luxury makers in the heritage restoration development adjacent to Buckingham Palace.

The makers include Aiveen Daly, a celebrated London-based textile artist. Daly has created a Mulberry Leaf Bench, Dragonfly Headboard and embroidered dining chairs – all inspired by the history and views of the Buckingham Palace private gardens.

“I have been part of the Walpole family for several years and am thrilled to collaborate with fellow members to showcase the finest British craftsmanship,” Daly says. “Working with discerning clients means most of our commissions are shrouded in secrecy. It is wonderful to collaborate with the house of Walpole to publicly showcase our work. We are honoured to sit alongside the finest makers in Britain today.”
