Squire & Partners welcomes The Broadway to London’s Victoria

Mix Interiors

The Broadway by Squire & Partners is a 1million sq ft development residing in Victoria, London. What was once a 1960s defensive block for the Metropolitan Police Headquarters is now made up of six towers clad in a dynamic geometric pattern inspired by the nearby 55 Broadway.

Rooted from the urban scale down to the final details, Squire & Partners provided total design for the development – encompassing the masterplan, architecture and interiors to achieve a unified scheme which creates a unique sense of place.

Contributing towards Westminster City Council’s vision for the regeneration of Victoria, The Broadway plays an integral part in shaping the look and feel of the local area. On the ground floor, retail units and entrance units to the office accommodation are accessible via Orchard Place – a new pedestrian street connecting St James’ Park Station to Victoria Street.

Squire & Partners used a family of three design languages encompassing palettes of light, medium and dark bronze metal partnered with light and dark pre-cast concrete across The Broadway. Inside, the offices and retail unit owners will be greeted with a Cat A fit-out when they arrive, along with a lobby area containing furniture, fixtures and equipment designed by Nainoa.
