This summer, The Savoy has welcomed the new outdoor dining experience, Solas, to its historic Savoy Court. This stunning space marries colourful bursts of floral with the Art Deco elegance of the hotel, creating a must-visit dining destination. You might want to secure your space sooner rather than later though as this luxurious pop-up is only open until the 21st of June.
Sprawling city views, London’s largest oyster menu, an excellent wine list and lush Mediterranean décor makes Seabird in Southwark the hottest rooftop terrace to visit in London this summer.
Immerse yourself in the world of French café culture and try your hand at a game of Pétanque (French boules) whilst sipping on a refreshing Lillet Spritz.
Lillet and Parisian restaurant, Colbert, have collaborated to set up ‘Pétanque on the Square’ in Chelsea’s Sloane Square. No booking is required, and the pop-up is on until September, perfect for spontaneous sunny afternoons.
Now open at Somerset House, London design biennale presents thirty-eight exhibitions, including ‘forest for change’ which addresses the vital role of design in recognising global challenges. The pavilions showcase international design and discuss the ripple effect that ground-breaking design concepts have on the way we live and the choices we make. The installations respond to the theme ‘resonance’ and Artistic Director’s Es Devlin discusses ‘how can design provide solutions to the major challenges and crises the world faces today?’
